We Mourn With Japan

Words cannot describe the feelings.  Yo-Yo Ma plays a traditional Japanese song that we all know.  The music speaks for our heartbreak and our prayers:

  3. Becky, thanks for sharing Yo-Yo Ma's moving performance in memory of the victims of Japan's tsunami tragedy. Our family's thoughts and prayers are with the people of Japan and everyone all over the world who care about them.

  8. Becky, there are times when words are superfluous and the only language is that of music. I remember, in the midst of grief over September 11th, I found that only the Adagio by Barber both reached and expressed the overwhelming sorrow. Thank you for finding the means to express what words has failed to communicate.

  9. Gypsy, Barber's Adagio was the perfect music to describe the feelings of September 11th. I'm so glad you liked the music with Yo-Yo Ma. It was just what I was hoping to find.
